Ciglob is an academic, non-for profit, organization devoted to the critical analysis of global  capitalism and the process of economic and social development in mature,  emerging economies and developing countries. Our thematic agenda includes topics of inequality, the analysis of economic and financial crises, international migration, macroeconomic policies, social policy and the determinants of economic growth. We support development models that promote socially equitable growth, environmental sustainability and respect the values of democracy.

The  main focus of the Center is on research and policy analysis of the main  problems surrounding globalization and the development process. Our economic approach to the  issues is global, inter-disciplinary and  socially sensitive. Our main products  include books, working papers and  short courses prepared by our members.
